This system accommodates frameless glass side returns in various shapes and sizes. Please always check feasibility before planning.
All glass used in our frameless roofs is solar reflective, self-clean and non-stick. We used heat soaked toughened to allow for wind pressure.
We use Dow Corning silicone to seal all structural joints. This has been tested, and passed at 2000 Pascals for wind and rain.
The Dow Corning silicone enables us to join glass to glass with no framework. The thickness of this glass will vary depending on the size and structure.
1st Folding Sliding Doors have completed all glazing on this project - In the loft, the bottom panes of glass are done in 6m toughened and 8.8mm laminated glass, this is to avoid having a balustrade. A three-door bi-fold from our Easislide range, we do 5 other bi-fold doors types. The door frames on this door are 75mm to house the advanced locking system, and it has 10 points locking with an anti-drill, anti bump and anti snap with security coded keys (so don't lose them) . Three sided #glasswindowbox with a slanted glass roof, all our window boxes and window #windowseats / #orialbays have solar glass as standard as do our #lightwells which have been done.
Our Frameless glass roofs are connected using structural silicon to connect the glass units. Our glass units have a solar reflective glass coating as standard with a self-cleaning coating - Planning these types of roofs will require a site visit from us at the early stages to best advise what your contractor would need to do.
We have structurally bonded virtually frameless conservatory Solar glass used as standard. We also completed a single door which has a 10 point locking built into the frame. Additionally, a coded key locking system is also used for additional security against key cloning
Steel frame constructed by the builder. Glass lintels support the 6m x 4m glass roof, we have used steel hangers to suspend the glass units in the centre to make the structure stronger. The vertical glass is also supporting the roof all panels including the sliding doors is solar reflective, to keep the heat down in the summer but retain the heat in the winter.
Up and over roof, are solar reflective glass as standard with a self cleaning coating. The glass encourages light into the building from the top and the front of the extension, if you would like more advice on this type of structure please contact us for more advice and information.

Virtually frameless glass side return, we have used the glass as a coping stone to go over customers brick wall which eliminates the need to do a parapet wall and lead work on one side. The glass is blacked out so when you look out the window, you can not see the and cavity underneath. This gives it a seamless look.
